We’re delighted to host this workshop by artisan crafter Drakos Dottir at the farm! Under her expert guidance, and using period-appropriate materials and tools, you’ll discover the art of tablet weaving and create a Viking-style woven band! Perfect for use as a belt or for decorating existing clothing, this band will be crafted from naturally-dyed wool in a range of colours, and you’ll have enough wool to create a band up to 2 metres long!

Spend the day learning the history of tablet weaving and its uses, and go home with your own gorgeous woven Viking band!
