Discover a prehistoric form of knitting!
Tickets £60
We’re delighted to host this workshop by artisan crafter Drakos Dottir at the farm! On this day course, you’ll get to grips with this ancient form of knitting, used by the Vikings to create sturdy and warm clothes from mittens to socks. Using period-appropriate materials and tools, you’ll learn how to get started with nalbinding, discover the Oslo Viking nalbinding stitch, and go home with enough wool to finish your fledgling project!
Discover the way the Vikings made their socks, and get started on a project of your own!
