Is your child imaginative, curious, and energetic? Do they like running around outside, trying new things, and getting hands-on with fun activities? Send them back through time to the Iron Age and let them find out for themselves!
On our Crazy Celts day camp, your child will experience Butser like never before. They’ll spend a fun-filled day with us packed full of exciting activities, all in the beautiful setting of our ancient buildings!
During the course of the day, your child will:
Paint their own Iron Age shield
Learn to grind wheat and cook ancient bread
Play Celtic games
Build a mini roundhouse
Hear a Celtic story
… and more!
Spaces are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment!
USEFUL INFORMATION: Please make sure your child wears practical clothing and sensible footwear, as this event features hands-on activities and they may get a little mucky! Weather-appropriate clothes and precautions like sun cream are recommended.
Children do not need to be accompanied during the day and can be safely left in our care.
Please note that our buildings feature open fires.
Lunch is not included in this event, so please make sure your child brings a picnic.
REFUNDS: We cannot offer any refunds on tickets unless we at Butser Ancient Farm need to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
COVID-19: We will be complying with any relevant Covid-19 government guidance in place at the time of the event including the latest guidance on mask wearing. If you have any Covid-19 symptoms or have been asked to self-isolate, please do not attend.
