Romans in Residence: Butser IX Legion

This bank holiday the Butser IX Roman Legion will be in residence in the Roman Villa at Butser Ancient Farm with fighting and marching demonstrations, archery, roman cooking, crafts, games and more. There will be plenty of opportunities to get hands on with the past and discover what life would have been like in Roman Britain.

This event is part of Chichester Roman Week where we will be celebrating the rich Roman heritage of the local area, alongside lots of other great heritage attractions.
