Join us for a unique overnight storytelling and music experience in our beautiful Iron Age roundhouse. Explore the profound wealth of Celtic stories as doorways to your inner worlds. We will use story and music in a profound and prayerful way that connects us to the spiritual traditions of the Celts, inviting us to honour our own ancestry and deep wisdom of the land.

Jonathon the Woodland Bard will recite the ancient stories of the Celtic traditions with gentle drumming, poetry and prose. The storylines will bring to you a meditation practice which addresses our current issues of environmental and cultural identity. There will also be enchanting dreamtime fiddle folk music from Steve Faulkner for you to enjoy throughout the evening.

Reciting these tales in the great roundhouse of our ancestors will give a tangible experience of ancient traditions. Rooting ourselves in a spiritual tradition can steady us in a changing world and give hope as we enter a place where we can top up and face the current climate.

You will be invited to join us after dinnertime to settle into the experience. You will be sleeping communally in our big round house, Little Woodbury, around a warming fire. In the morning, you’ll be awoken by the sun, ready to share breakfast together and step back into the modern world, refreshed and recharged.
