Easter Holidays at the Farm
Thursday 7th April to Sunday 23rd April 10am to 4pm
Normal admission applies - Advance booking recommended
Join us for a cracking Easter at Butser Ancient Farm as we open our ancient doors 7 days a week throughout the Easter holidays.
Meet our newborn rare-breed baby lambs, go on the hunt for clues to crack our spring-time trail and learn a new skill with a hands-on demonstration.
This Easter we’ll be celebrating the completion of our second Saxon hall - house based on excavations from the Anglo-Saxon settlement at nearby Chalton Down.
Over the Easter weekend come and meet the Saxons from Herigeas Hundas who will be joining us from Friday 15th to Monday 18th April with demonstrations, traditional crafts, cooking and combat displays.
Everyday of the holidays there will be the chance to get hands on and learn ancient skills from our wonderful staff and volunteers. See below for a provisional outline of what’s happening each day.
The Easter holidays are also a chance to see our Wickerman being constructed and have a sneak peak at the top secret 2022 design!
