Bronze Age for Your Curriculum
Tuesday 12th April 2022 11am - 12pm
Free
Join us for this free teacher event and explore our new Bronze Age area, learn more about how this era fits into the school curriculum, and hear about our Bronze Age school trips and all-new hands-on activities to bring this ancient period to life.
The event will consist of a talk about the Bronze Age from our archaeologist Thérèse, plus a discussion about how this fits with the school curriculum with our education team teacher Kat. You will gain insight into the benefits of a school trip to Butser, a behind the scenes tour of the Bronze Age area, and suggestions as to which of our activities might most benefit your students. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and see how this fascinating period of prehistory fits between the Stone Age and Iron Age periods.
USEFUL INFORMATION: Please wear practical clothing and sensible footwear, as we’re an open-air site.
