Sorry Sold Out

Join author and professional storyteller, Dawn Nelson, for a journey through the darker aspects of stories in the unique setting of our Iron Age roundhouse.

From Straparola to the Grimm Brothers, this storytelling evening for adults takes a look at the people recording the tales from the oral storytelling tradition. Flayed women, singing birds, cannibals and vengeful serpents will all make an appearance as you settle in for an evening of Dark Fairytales.

As with her popular podcast 'Stories From Lore', Dawn will talk about the history of these stories as well as telling some of the darker tales from the collections.
