Evening Bat Walk with the Hampshire Bat Group

Sadly our ‘Evening Bat Walk’ event is unable to go ahead this year due to restrictions related to COVID-19. All ticket holders will shortly be contacted and fully refunded. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. We hope to reschedule the walk for next year.

Join Ruth Holland from the Hampshire Bat group for an evening bat walk around the ancient buildings at Butser Ancient Farm. You’ll have exclusive access to the farm at dusk as part of this small group where you will be supplied with bat detectors (one between two people). You’ll then embark on a guided walk around the buildings at Butser, hunting for both the common and soprano pipistrelle bats who visit Butser.  

Suitable for adults and children over 5 when accompanied by a responsible adult. Please wear suitable warm clothing and sensible shoes and bring a torch with you.
