Below is an outline of the types of additional activities and demonstrations we have planned for each day. However please note these may be subject to change. Check out our what’s on board as you arrive, or speak to a member of the team to find out what we have planned.

Saturday 24th October - Learn about ancient herbal remedies, meet the Iron Age celts
Sunday 25th October - Learn about turning nettles into string and fabric, spinning with wool and discover more about our Roman Villa on a special talk.
Monday 26th October - Learn about weaving and ancient textiles, making cord and spinning
Tuesday 27th October - Learn about turning nettles into string and fabric, spinning with wool, watch us working on our stone age house construction
Wednesday 28th October - Learn about weaving and ancient textiles, making cord and spinning, meet a Stone Age re-enactor and in the afternoon watch flint knapping in action.
Thursday 29th October - Discover more about the Stone Age with a special talk, learn about ancient herbal remedies and turning nettles into string and fabric. Discover the art of tablet weaving.
Friday 30th October - Learn about weaving and ancient textiles, herbal remedies, braiding with Trollen wheels and chalk carving.
Saturday 31st October - Meet the Romans from Butser IX Legion, discover more about ancient herbal remedies.
